Financial Services Β· US

Every product bet you place has a second audience: the regulator.

A wrong product call in most industries costs a quarter. In US financial services it can cost restitution, a consent order, and an examiner's attention. Weaxen brings depth to the evidence, rigour to the sign-off, and eyes on the outcome after launch β€” so the decision holds up the first time, and keeps holding up.

Why product decisions are harder here

UDAAP judges harm, not intent

UDAAP gives the CFPB and prudential regulators broad authority to ask whether a product causes consumer harm β€” especially products that combine features in ways that obscure cost or risk. Examiners expect new products reviewed for that harm up front, with the analysis to show for it. A confident slide isn't that analysis.

Models demand ongoing monitoring

SR 11-7 doesn't stop at building a sound model β€” it requires outcomes analysis and ongoing monitoring that triggers review when performance drifts. That discipline increasingly reaches any product making automated decisions, and most teams have no structured way to sustain it after launch.

One process can't fit every bet

A change to a lending decision and a tweak to a marketing page should not clear the same committee β€” but teams either drown every idea in the same heavy review, or wave things through with none. The rigour is rarely matched to the actual risk of the decision.

How we can help

Without Weaxen

  • New-product UDAAP analysis assembled by hand, from scratch, for every review
  • Models validated once, then monitored ad hoc until something drifts and nobody notices
  • One heavy approval process applied to every bet regardless of its actual risk
  • Evidence and sign-off scattered across decks and inboxes when an examiner asks

With Weaxen

  • Deep, structured research β€” customer, market, competitor β€” behind every material decision
  • Ongoing outcome monitoring wired in, the way SR 11-7 expects β€” signals that trigger the next review
  • Governance dialled to the risk of each bet: full rigour where it counts, speed where it doesn't
  • One connected, versioned record of evidence and sign-offs that stands up to an examination

Brief the initiative

Teams describe what they're building in plain language. No taxonomy to learn, no template to fill.

02

Weaxen runs the framework

Path Forger recommends the right artefacts for your stage and risk level. A scrappy pre-seed run looks different to a Series A launch β€” same engine, right dose.

Every decision documented. Every assumption surfaced. Every risk traceable. Ready for engineers, boards, or Claude Code.

Questions teams ask us

Where does our data live?

Weaxen holds your product research and decision records β€” not your customers' financial data. Your workspace content is encrypted in transit and at rest, and where residency is required we hold it in-region, including on US soil.

Can we control who accesses what?

Yes. Role-based access within organisations, MFA, and β€” on enterprise agreements β€” SAML single sign-on with DNS-verified domains and optional SSO enforcement, backed by an organisation-level audit log.

Will this satisfy a UDAAP or model-risk review?

Weaxen is built around exactly what examiners ask for: who decided, on what evidence, with whose sign-off, and how the product is performing now. Every artefact is versioned; nothing depends on someone remembering.

How do we evaluate it?

Bring one live initiative β€” ideally one heading for a product-approval or model-risk committee β€” and run it through the framework. You'll see the review pack assemble itself within days.

Bring a real initiative. Leave with a real Project Kit.
