Welcome to Weaxen. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the platform. These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Description of Service

Weaxen is an AI-powered collaborative workspace for creative project design and management, operated by Mindlace. The platform provides tools for research, ideation, content structuring, real-time collaboration, and AI-assisted content generation to help teams design and validate creative projects.

2. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, whether through email and password or Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@weaxen.mindlace.co.uk of any unauthorised use.

3. Use of AI Features

Weaxen uses third-party AI language models (including Anthropic Claude and Perplexity, accessed via OpenRouter) to provide features such as research generation, content structuring, and chat-based assistance. By using these features:

• You acknowledge that your project content and chat messages may be sent to these AI providers for processing
• You understand that AI-generated outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before relying on it
• AI providers process your content to generate responses but do not retain it for their own training purposes

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create on the platform. However, by using Weaxen, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, display, process, and transmit your content as necessary to provide our services, including sending content to AI providers for processing and enabling real-time collaboration with your team members.

Weaxen and its logo, features, and functionality are owned by Mindlace and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any content intended to interfere with the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or other users' accounts
• Use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without our consent
• Resell, sublicence, or commercially exploit the platform without authorisation

6. Collaborative Features

Weaxen provides real-time collaboration features that allow multiple users to work together on projects within an organisation. You are responsible for the content you contribute to shared projects. Organisation administrators manage team access and may control who can view, edit, or delete shared content.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, there is a 14-day recovery window during which you can restore your account and associated data. After this 14-day period, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted from our systems.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the platform or other users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking such action, except where immediate action is required to protect the platform or other users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weaxen and Mindlace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content produced through the platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the platform or via email. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should stop using the platform and delete your account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
